1. What is GYTA fiber optic cable?

  • GYTA fiber optic cable is an outdoor, loose-tube fiber optic cable with aluminum tape armor, making it suitable for aerial and duct installations where corrosion and moisture resistance are important.
  • The name breaks down as:

"GY" for outdoor

"T" for filled structure,

"A" for the aluminum-polyethylene bonded sheath that provides moisture barrier and mechanical protection.
